Sentimental Journey-"Reminisce" was presented by Studio Theatre of Bath in February 2004 at the Winter Street Center.
Jan Crosson of Topsham directed and produced this production.
"Sentimental Journey" now in its third winter season, brought local audiences an all-new revue of favorite songs from the 1930s to the present. Ranging from doo-wop to pop to jazz to Broadway show tunes, musical selections came from such legends as Hoagy Carmichael, Frank Sinatra, Paul Anka, Elvis Presley, The Beach Boys, Billy Joel, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Rogers and Hart.
The cast included John Ater of Bath as master of cermonies, Nancy Durgin of Wiscasset;Suzanne Rankin of Wiscasset and Matinicus Island:Jan Crosson of Topsham;Susan Morse of Newcastle;Ron Bouffard of Boothbay Harbor;John Strong of Nobleboro;Chris Hall of Woolwich and Sheldon Bird of Bath. Accompanying the show was music director Brad Howard of Farmingdale on piano and Hal Ahlers of Bowdoinham on drums, with occasional assistance from Bird on bass, Strong on guitar and Hall on violin.
