The play, book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt opened during the 60's in New York City and is the longest-running musical in the world.  The show uses minimal costumes and a small set, but engages the audience's imagination and showcases a strong ensemble cast.  It is a moving tale of young lovers who become disillusioned, only to discover a more mature, meaningful love.  The play is punctuated by a bountiful series of catchy, memorable songs, one of which like "Try to Rembember" have become standards.

The play was presented at the Winter Street Center in November 2004 and was directed by Thom Watson, with musical direction by Jim Colby, technical direction by Ray Siegler and stage managed by Nancy Townsend.
