Calling All Directors!
STB seeks directors who are excited to bring productions they are passionate about to the stage! We are currently accepting applications from highly motivated directors for our upcoming theatrical productions. Aspiring directors must work closely with their production and creative teams, as well as STB volunteers. Production teams are typically comprised of the producer, director, choreographer, and music director. Creative teams are comprised of the director, set designer, lighting designer, sound designer, costume designer, and stage manager.
STB has a network in any of these areas to support our directors if they are looking to fill positions. The identification of sponsors, fundraising, and development of marketing materials for the show and show promotion are handled by the show’s producer in conjunction with the STB Board of Directors.
Performance spaces range from full-sized theaters like the Chocolate Church Arts Center and Montgomery Theater (Morse High School) to smaller venues such as the Winter Street Church. We are also open to suggestions outdoor options if appropriate (Library Park).
Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis. All applicants will be notified of a decision once one has been reached.
